माना कि सौन्दर्य के प्रति,
स्त्री का विशेष लगाब,
सदियों से रहा है,
आधुनिक युग में यह सौन्दर्य-प्रेम,
बेतहासा,बेलगाम बढ़ा है
सौब्दर्य बढ़ाने की तमाम तकनीकें,
पीछे छूट गई हैं।
अब कमसिन दिखने की,
एक नई जहर की सुई ईजाद हुई है,
जिसके के लगवाने से चेहरे की झुर्रियां
कुछ हफ़्ते- महीने के लिए
गायब हो जाती हैं,
और सौन्दर्य में चार चाँद लग जाते हैं,
और फ़िर त्वचा,
पहले से भी ज्यादा,
कान्तिहीन हो जाती है,
फ़िर जहर की सुई लेनी पड़ती है,
विषकन्याएँ ऐसे ही तैयार की जाती थीं,
फ़र्क बस इतना है,
कि रूप- सौन्दर्य बढ़ाने के लिए
चेहरे पर जहर की सुई दी जाती है,
और विष-कन्या को जहर खिलाया जाता था,
यहाँ रूप-सौन्दर्य देखकर,
लोगों के होश खो जाते हैं,
और वहाँ विष-कन्या के काटने मात्र से

A very good attack on todays pseudo-foebish females.Since I always honour females I too feel pained by the constantly mutilating image of themselves.Now did you review the causative factor behind it? O.K. let me share it with you! in the decades of sixties and seventies females started using their education in reviewing their social state.A role model appeared which originated from western impact,having defying all social bondages,liberated from social discilplines,considering motherly role an outfashioned act and concentrating solely on their physical appearance and winning the world by the help of it.This role model was started copying in early eighties and by the end of this decade it is regarded and linked with progress! what a shame , this country saw modern powerful women in the get up of Mahadevi verma,sarojini naidu, Maharani gayetri devi, from 80 -90 years back.Why cant todays females copy them. Beauty essentially is a sum total effect of females’ emotional appearance,physical simplicity,her urge to sooth and calm every one around and above all silently inspiring observer to attempt a difficult deed!

डा. विश्वास जी, बिल्कुल सही कहा आपने। सौन्दर्य, सौन्दर्य प्रसाधनों से नहीं होता बल्कि अपने कर्म में निहित होता है और स्त्र्री को उस पर ही ध्यानकेन्द्रित करना चाहिए लेकिन युग ने करवट ली और बहुत कुछ अवांछित परिवर्तन आ गया ।जब नदी में बाढ़ आती है तब अच्छी-बुरी कई चीज़ें बहा ले जाती है जो बचता है वह अच्छा भी हो सकता है और बुरा भी। ज़िन्दगी ऐसे ही चलती रहती है बस कुछ लोग संभल-संभल कर चलते हैं। हार्दिक आभार सहित….
